June 2013 Beauty Army Review

This is my first Beauty Army box, so I was really excited for it to show up.  Beauty Army is a beauty box subscription that costs $12 and you get to chose your own six samples, which was really exciting since I am used to getting random samples that I may or may not enjoy.  These are the six samples that I chose.

All of these are things I was really interested in, so I was extremely excited when it finally showed up.

Here are the pictures of me opening my box!  (Warning, extremely picture heavy.  I love taking pictures)

Very high quality, solid feeling box.  It says BEAUTY ARMY in shiny letters but it didn't really pick up on the camera.

They play a lot on the "army" theme.  I love the pick camouflage.

 Lots of beautiful tissue paper!

Front of the card in the box.

Back of the card.  This is my favorite color!

Are you seeing the black and pink?

First thing I pulled out, mascara!

The brush looks pretty good, so I can't wait to try it out.

This is the mark. hookup, you can connect the mascara to a lipgloss or any of the other mark. hookup products.

Next, the cream eyeliner!
Sorry, the flash didn't really pick up the words but it says Obsessive Cosmetics.

The packaging is so beautiful!

I thought bronze would look good on my hazel brown eyes, but it is a little brighter than I thought it would be, so I will try it out in a few days and take pictures.

The next product was another one I was super excited about, hair chalk!

Of course, since pink is one of my favorite colors I picked the pink hair chalk (or shadow as they call it), but they also had gold and purple available.

It is a pretty big piece of chalk, it should last me a long time.

Next, was a face cream.  It looked pretty good, so I am excited to try it out.  My skin is really dry right now so I hope this will help it.

Very shiny packaging, it made the flash go crazy!

This sample should last me a couple of nights.

Oooh I like that it has the clinical results on the back, that is pretty handy.  A+ for packaging!

Next, is a product that even though it is a tiny sample, I am really excited to try.  I have heard that this is a facial mask that many celebrities even swear by.  I hope it is as good as everyone says!

Can't wait to try!

Last but not least, is a gel nail polish.  But, I can't try it till I borrow my sister's UV curing lamp.

Again, with the black and pink packaging!

Cute, but super tiny!

Kinda blurry, but the color looks super pretty!

It looks like it has a nice brush too!

Here are some additional pictures of me trying out the hair chalk, I really like it so far and hope that I can buy a couple more colors.

That's the smudge left on my finger.

All in all, I feel that I definitely got my moneys worth and I really think I will enjoy all of the products, it was really fun getting to chose all products that I knew I was interested in.  I think I will be sticking with Beauty Army for the month of July too.
